Born and raised in La Jolla, CA, Joe obtained his real estate license in 2001, and his broker’s license in 2010. He has been a top producer over the years at GMAC, First Choice Properties, and most recently at Coldwell Banker, where he was ranked in the top 9% of agents worldwide. In order to better serve his clients he decided 2014 to open his own Brokerage, Homes of San Diego. His clients have enjoyed and benefited from this change. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, and San Diego Association of Realtors, La Jolla Real Estate Brokers Association, and in 2009, he earned the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation.
Joe’s continued success in real estate centers around his philosophy of client care: take good care of your clients, always keeping their interests first, work hard, work to build strong relationships with all parties involved in a transaction and to enjoy the experience. Joe’s clients enjoy his personable and professional style of negotiating and conducting business, and benefit from his expertise both during, and for years after, their transaction.
In addition to his many years of real estate experience, Joe has five years of landscape construction and five years of home construction experience. He is able to bring this knowledge to his transactions, giving clients additional insight and perspective when it comes to their purchase or sale.
When he’s not busy selling homes, Joe spends most of his time surfing at Windansea in La Jolla, where he is a member of the Windansea Surf Club. He also enjoys volunteering at community events, including Kids’ Day At The Beach, Special Surfers’ Day At The Beach, and the Menhune Surf Contest. He has also contributed to the Alzheimers Association, and is a past member of the University City Community Association planning committee. He lives with his wife, Carla, and their two cats Angus and Otis in San Diego.
