I became a full time Real Estate Broker in 2005 after a career as a PGA Golf Professional and General Manager of Resorts and Country Clubs. My interest in real estate began when I became an investor in speculative homes in the early 2000's in the Pinehurst / Southern Pines area of N.C. I decided that it would be good idea to get a real estate license to be able to list for sale my investment properties. Well, fortunately I was blessed to market and move these properties at a fair pace and found that others in the area asked me to do the same thing for them. In the years since, many buyers and sellers have entrusted me to assist them with their real estate needs. My passion for real estate drove me to be the top producing broker at my last firm 2010 - 2014 and in 2014 achieved their highest sales award level for being the No.1 broker in the region. I have listed and sold in all price points up to and over $2 million. I specialize in New Construction, all buyers and sellers in the $150,000 - $700,000 range, Golf Communities, and Development. What I love most about the Wilmington area is that it is truly about lifestyle and quality of life. We have a unique historic river front, beaches, golf, all imaginable water activities, and great neighborhoods in between. Wilmington is an area where you get to know people quickly as it is a very friendly place. It has a small town atmosphere but has the amenities and lives like a large city. Away from the office I enjoy our church, family, being involved in mission and ministry, and many different outdoor activities including fishing, paddling, surfing, the beach, and camping. Although I utilize the most powerful marketing tools and technological innovations that are so crucial to the real estate market, I strive to remember the time tested basics of hard work and humility.
